Valentine's day treat.

Hello everyone!
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day (woop!)!
Valentine's day is equal to chocolates, desserts, flowers, and more chocolates (Oh, and love as well).

If you're like me who loves baking and themed chocolates, you're on the right page! Also, if you're special someone loves dessert and sweet goodies, you can make these for them to show that you really care about them and you actually put an effort in your present. And hey, who doesn't like food? Right?

If you don't have a special someone on Valentine's Day, entertain yourself by baking and indulging yourself with these goodies while watching Friends on Netflix or hockey (?) (not very romantic though. haha). You can also definitely enjoy these with your family and friends!

I'm now sharing you how I baked these Valentine's Day Blondie Bars. Have fun!
I should add that this recipe is very simple to do and it doesn't take a lot of your time.
Let's get started then!

Blondie Bars
Ingredients:
⅓ cup of unsalted butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of brown sugar
½ teaspoon of  baking powder
⅛ teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of all purpose flour
½ teaspoon of salt
1-⅓ cup of M&Ms or Smarties

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan and mix brown sugar in. Transfer to a bigger bowl and let it cool.
3. Add whisked egg into the brown sugar mixture.
4. Add the dry ingredients in portion. Mix well.
5. Add chocolates into the mixture. Then top it off with more! Transfer to a 9x9 pan.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. You may use the toothpick test to make sure that it is cooked thoroughly.
7. Let it cool before cutting.

Voila! You are done!
You can now give it to someone as a present.
You can share it with all your friends and family.
Or you can just keep it all to yourself.

Let me know if you're going to give this a try.
Spread the love!

I made blonde brownies last week but for some reason they stayed quite gooey. I still ate them though lol
