Much needed sunshine.

Peplum top: American Eagle /  Jegging: American Eagle / Sunglasses: Forever 21 / Necklace: Forever 21 / Handbag: Kate Spade (similar)
Photos by: Jonathan David Garde Casana

I was too excited for summer and decided to wear a sleeveless top. It was 11 degrees. Hah!
Good thing there's only a slight breeze of wind, so walking around downtown was still pretty awesome. Except the fact that people were looking at me but hey, I'm the biggest fan of sunshine and I'm wearing booties (like it helps. haha).
I think I got tanned after exploring Toronto and I'm totally cool with it cause I'm ahead of you all!

This summer, I'm planning to have more posts like this one. If you like it, then that's awesome (I hope you do)! But just to let you all know, I'm not really good with modelling (if you even call these photos "modelling". haha!) or posing, or with photos in general, especially in public, where there's sooo many people. I'm not the most confident person out there (but I'm working on it). I KINDA managed on this one. I laughed when I saw the fourth photo, maybe they're just looking at the store? I don't know and it doesn't matter. My mom always tells me that people who stare at me, or look at me doesn't even know who I am. I won't see them ever again. So why should I care? I'm just doing what I love and I'm having fun.

I guess you just do what makes you happy and be confident about it!

What I've been loving this April.

You. Yes, you! :D

Hello everybody!
It's the time of the month where almost every b/vloggers post their favourites.
I've never done anything like this before and I think it's fun grabbing all the things I've been using/loving/eating (yep, there's food) and showing it to you guys.

Hand creams. Always a must have for me and this hand cream from Body Shop
works wonderfully well. It's very moisturizing and it also strengthens your nails (2-in-1,
who doesn't want that). Another thing, if you're a huge fan of almond scent,
this will be your favourite too!

This body butter from Body Shop is amazzzing. I always apply this before I go to bed and
when I wake up, my skin is so soft. It does wonders. Plus, it smells so good. I tried
a lot of their different scent and my favourite would be Cocoa Butter and
Strawberry Butter (it's just so fruity).

I would like to point out that this post is not sponsored by Body Shop. Haha.
Having said that, my face is loving this tea tree BB cream. I've mentioned in my
previous posts that I have a good skin and I don't use foundation all the time.
This BB cream gives a medium coverage and it's very hydrating to my skin.
Some people don't like the smell of this cream when they apply it but I love it.

Okay, this month was the most busiest time in school. Had to stay up late to study for exams
and even prepare for presentations. This concealer was used every single time
(I believe so). As you can see, I'm running out of it. Great for under eyes coverage!

I think this mascara is everyone's favourite. No? Okay. Well, it's mine!
I'm not only loving it this month. I've been loving this for so long and as I said,
this is my first time posting 'Favourites' and I decided to put this up as well. I don't have
long eyelashes that some of you do, but when I use this, BAM! it gives my eyelashes
a lot of volume! Very easy to apply as well. (The only thing I don't like is the name,
why can't it be "Better than Macarons" or something. Why Too Faced? Why?).

Love this thing. I just realized that both mascaras are in the same colour. Guess I'm
loving the colour as well! When it comes to makeup, I'm a huge fan of mascaras.
It brightens your eyes and makes it a lot bigger (yea, I got some chinky eyes).
This mascara is great in separating your eyelashes and I just love that.

I'm not a fan of lipsticks (yea, right). I love seeing them in stores though. But, this lip balm
from L'Oreal is great! It's moisturizing and gives your lips a little hint of colour.
This balm is in 418 Caring Coral.

This top coat from Revlon is amazing. If you want the gel look, this will be great for you. After finding this in the store, this top coat is now the only one I'm using. I only bought one coloured nail polish in their range but this top coat works great with all brands.

Yes, it's necessary to post. This chocolate will always be found in all my bags and purse.
I've been snacking this in school, subway, anywhere. It's dark chocoalate,
which I'm a fan of, and they're easy to sneak in!

Three candles in one photo, awesome! Haha. This candle is from Bath and Body Works and
it's the Guava Colada. You know Pina Colada? That's how this smells like but with guava.
(I'm not good in explaining scents. haha.) I love it's packaging as well. It's ombre and
when it's lighted, it reminds me of sunset.

Hope you like this long post about what I've been loving. Haha.
What are your favourites this month?
Maybe I love them too!

Real Techniques haul.

Hello everybody!

I've been watching a lot of beauty vlogs lately (only in my free time though).
Most of the videos that I watched included Real Techniques' brushes.
Their collections are pretty popular even though their first brushes were released in 2011 (I believe).
After reading so many great reviews about them, I decided to order them online. Finally.
Left to right: Core Collection, Blush Brush, Starter Set

As some of you may know, I don't usually put makeup on on everyday basis (I was blessed with a pretty fair skin. Haha). Since I'm already 19, (I don't know if that's too young for makeup. No? Good.) I want to be more lady-like (yea right, haha). Having said that, these brushes are pretty much my first actual set (I do have some Body Shop brushes though) and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
They're worth the price! Now let's talk about 'em.

Core Collection ($22.02 CAD)
*Includes case
  • Buffing brush: This brush is used to apply a full coverage application of powder and foundation. This brush is pretty dense and it will definitely give you an even application of foundation. This brush can also be used as a blush brush since it's very soft and picks up the right amount of powder.
  • Contour brush: Yup! You guessed it right! It's used for contouring. This is used to define the apples of your cheeks.
  • Foundation brush: Almost everyone's review about this was right. This brush is too tiny for distributing foundation to your face. If you use this as a foundation brush, I guarantee that you will need some extra time. I think this can be used as a concealer brush under your eyes!
  • Detailer brush: This brush can be used as a lip brush or as a concealer brush to cover some spots. Two in one!

Starter Set ($22.02 CAD)
*Includes case
  • Deluxe crease brush: This brush works great for blending your eyeshadows. It's very dense and picks up the right amount of eyeshadow. When I saw the brush, I thought it's going to be too big for my crease but  I was wrong. It worked beautifully!
  • Accent brush: This brush can be used for smudging, highlighting your eyebrows and the inner corner of your eyes. This is the cutest brush I've seen!
  • Base shadow brush: Used for patting in your eyeshadows! This brush is pointed a little and that really helps with applying eyeshadow in your lid.
  • Fine liner brush: This brush is used for lining your eyes with either cream eyeliner or liquid eyeliner. Get those wings flick!
  • Brow brush: Yup! You guessed it right again! It's used for your eyebrowzz! Filling and shaping your eyebrows with this brush will be a breeze since it's angled.

Blush Brush ($11.01 CAD)
  • Blush brush: The bristles are not as dense so the application of your favourite blush will be awesome! It distributes your blush evenly! You can also use this for contouring.

This brush is pretty much my favourite! It's very very soft and very very fluffy - I don't know how I can emphasize that (and yea, it's pink) haha.

Overall, the price is worth it. The quality of these brushes are amazing.
As a "beginner" in the makeup world, I think I'm gonna hold on to these for a very long time.
If you're looking for brushes, I highly recommend Real Techniques!
